What a great Ping.sg 2nd Anniversary Party we have had just now and congratulations to the Ping.sg Blog Awards II winners!
As I am totally exhausted from continuously missing sleep from the last few days, I’m going to do this in point-form.
- The party was great!
- The attendees were great! We have met so many new Pingsters for the first time. It’s really great to meet new bloggers.
- Pong and poof game were really fun. Now I wish I have the pong/poof tags everywhere I go.
- The food at Fig & Olive was really great! Really the best catering I’ve had.
- Rinaz’ Ping Lipdup video kicks ass! It kicks so much ass that we had to play it twice, in a row, as none of us could get enough of it.
- Congratulations to all the awards winners. Do continue blogging great entries!
- Bravo Rinaz, for winning the Post of the Year award for this post. She got herself a $200 Takashimaya voucher and a dinner for 2 sponsored by Waggener Edstrom.

Winners of these categories have been determined by community votes during the open voting period of 6 July to 17 July 2008, and will be revealed on the day of the Party!
Each winner from the Post or Blog Categories will stand a chance to win either the Post of the Year or Blog of the Year Award respectively.
This will be done by having each winner entered into a fresh new competition on the day of the Party itself. All attendees will be given a Unique Code. This Unique Code will be used for 2 purposes:
- To vote for their choice “Post of the Year” and “Blog of the Year“,
- To enter a lucky draw!

Ping.sg 2nd Anniversary Party is Around the Corner
Hello Pingsters!
It has been a year of many happenings and finally, Ping.sg is now celebrating its 2nd birthday! Join in our celebrations and engage in an exciting evening of games, food and drinks, and networking with bloggers and sponsors of the event!

Ping.sg Blog Awards II is Open for Voting
After a really long meeting with the Ping.sg Organizing Committee in processing through the really really long list of 187 nominations, the final nominees for each of the categories have finally been announced.
The nominees are selected by a group of panel based on the following criteria:
– Frequency of the preliminary nominations
– Suitability of the nominations for each of the categories
– Voting by the committee members (with the rule that none of the committee member is able to vote for oneself).
After the really tedious process of going through the list of good blogs and great posts, we were all tired from reading too many good stuff, but finally we are happy to announce the final nominees for each of the categories for the 2nd Ping.sg Blog Awards!
Congratulations to all the nominees!
Voting starts now until Thursday, 17 July 2008 18:00.
Do note that you can vote for the blog categories every 24 hours but for the post categories, only once.
Winners will be announced during the upcoming Ping.sg 2nd Anniversary Party this coming 19th July 2008! More details on the party soon.
