  • Blog awards voting period is over. Winners will be announced during the party. So make sure you don’t miss out the party!

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for the party. We would not have been able to hold the party for free for all the members had we do not receive the sponsorships from these parties.

Through a system that allows the collection of real-time demographics, and also allows bloggers to make their own custom polls, we are different from anything out there, at least until our competitors start copying us.

For the bloggers out there, if you would like to make some money doing what you are already doing and love doing, ie. blogging, please do not hesitate to sign up for a publisher account with Advertlets.com. Don’t lose the potential earnings that you could’ve made by blogging all these while.

Ping.sg is One!!!!1

We Are One

Ping.sg has turned 1 today.

Ping.sg was launched a year ago, on 4th of July 2006, as version v0.1 beta. Ping.sg was started as uzyn’s bedroom project and within a short period of 1 year, Ping.sg has grown so much, from a hobbyist bedroom project to being what it is today. Ping.sg is no longer a site developed by uzyn only. Ping.sg is now a unique online Singapore community for bloggers that has more than 1000 members as of the time of typing. That is quite an impressive achievement as using and visiting Ping.sg doesn’t require membership. On top of that, a lot of us have known each other very closely from the community. A lot of us have grown to not just being online friends that check out each other’s blogs and interacting in the unique shoutbox, but to being very close real-life friends.

Ping.sg couldn’t have become what it is today without its community, who have been very supportive of the site thus far. Some of the community members have even went steps further to help out in a lot of our events and also gladly helping out to keep the online community a pleasant one.

Ping.sg’s 1st anniversary is indeed a special day for all of us. With that, we wish all of the Ping.sg users Happy Anniversary. We hope to see you at our party this coming Saturday 07/07/07. For more details, please visit our special party page http://ping.sg/party

(Thanks malique for the nice wallpaper design.)

with 7 comments

At the point of writing, Ping.sg is turning one in 8.5 hours time. We will be a one-year old toddler this coming 4th of July!

Do join us later tonight at Ping.sg 2007-07-04 0000 hrs +0800 for a mass shouting session!

Let’s have the most chaotic shouting session since our launch!

And if you are still considering attending our party this Saturday (070707), do sign up quickly. We’ll be full house really soon. Also, we’ll be closing the Blog Awards voting at noon tomorrow (4th of July) to make way for our final preparations.

We’re all excited! I’m sure all Pingers are felling the same too.
