Uzyn, you didn’t seem to post anything about the new XML-RPC pingback service, so I’ll leave a comment here. It doesn’t seem to be working for me on my WordPress blog; I’ve entered the RPC URL in my Options correctly, but a post I just published didn’t seem to make it onto the site. Trackback method still works fine, as I used it on a slightly earlier post.
Any way to properly troubleshoot this, find out if the error is on my client side?

ketsugi, thanks for the feedback. I’ll check out the issue and let you know again, probably by email.
And thanks for reminding me to blog about the latest update. Been so busy for the past few days.

My apologies: it does seem to be working after all, it’s just that it takes a lot longer than the trackback method for the post to show up, presumably because ping.sg needs to crawl the site and find new posts.

Yeah it would take more time than previously for the exact reason that you have mentioned.
It should show up in less than 2 minutes (normally under 1 minute) under normal circumstances if the user’s blog is reachable.
